This blog is about what we are teaching in the adult Bible class and Sundays at Six at Gregory Drive Alliance Church of Chatham, Ontario. We have a passion for the Word of God as it reveals God. It is our desire that everyone in the class will be students of the Word.

Chronos and Kairos
The Greeks have two words for time. The first is chronos which means chronological or sequential time. The second is kairos which speaks of the right or opportune moment. Our lives are governed by chronos but the Sabbath is kairos. If we are governed by chronos then the Sabbath is an interuption or and inconvience but the soul needs to stop and celebrate the Sabbath as a kairos time.
