Inside, Outside

Hebrews tells us that we can be inside the veil, the way into God's presence has been made available through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
But it also tells us that we are outside, outside the camp. We are told that we are to go out to Him (not for Him). Jesus was crucified outside the city. Going to Him outside the camp is to identify with the shame that He bore.
I was reading in Numbers 5 today and it struck me how both aspects of inside and outside are given to us in the books of Moses. The veil in the Tabernacle said "keep out". Failing to be clean was to be sent out of the camp. Jesus took our sins, became unclean so that we can enter through the veil.
