Discipline

When our kids were growing up they often needed disciplining but so did the two boys who lived down the street. There were times I felt like disciplining them but they were not my children. I disciplined my boys because they were my children and I loved them.
So it is with us. We are disciplined because we are God's children and He loves us. Discipline can be for both correction and training. I wanted our children to have unacceptable behaviour corrected but I also wanted them to be trained into Godly men and women.
