The Anchor of our Souls

Hope is the anchor of our souls. But what do we mean by hope. Hope rests in the promises of God. Do we rest in His promises? It is interesting that faith moves from the promise to the fulfillment and then from the fulfillment to the promise. By faith we believe in the promises of God and we see that God fulfills those promises. Then we know that because God has fulfilled the promises that we can believe that the promises of God are firm and secure.
