When I was a kid in Sunday School we used to sing a chorus that went
Jesus and others and you
What a wonderful way to spell joy
J is for Jesus Who must have first place
O is for others you met face to face
Y is for you and whatever you do
Put your self last and spell joy.
Now there is truth in that chorus.
If you seek joy you will not find it but if you seek to love the Lord and to serve others you will have joy. Joy is not a product you can produce but it comes as a by product.
