Dare to Draw Near

The author of Hebrews exhorts us to draw near to God. The then gives the conditions for drawing near.
1. With a true heart
2. In full assurance of faith.
3. With our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience
4. Our bodies washed with pure water.
There are many books written on prayer and some give us ways to pray. However, when you study the prayers in Scripture you find that there is no set way to pray. You can intercede like Abraham, cry out like a child as Hannah did, or be lofty in your prayer as Daniel. The best book to study on prayer is the Bible itself and take time to study the prayers of the saints of old.
