The first set of coverings was called the Tabernacle because it actually comprised the roof of the main structure. There were ten curtains that made up this cover and they were made of fine linen. It was only seen by those who ministered within the Holy place or the Holy of Holies. Like Jesus the beauty is hidden from those who are not inside. Peter, James and John saw that glory on the mount of transfiguration.
