I have been mediating on the Psalms in the morning and today I was in Psalm 25. The last part of verse twelve says, "He (The Lord) will instruct him in the way chosen for him." The Lord is both our instructor and our guide. We often want guidance but guidance only comes to us as we look to Him as our teachers. Many times we hear that we are to seek the Lord's will for our lives and this is true but there is also and maybe more import way for us to find the Lord's will for us and that is to allow Him to teach us through His Word. But of course this involves trust. We like to be in control but God says that we are to leave it to Him. Why not trust Him who knows the future instead of trying to figure everything out for ourselves? Remember, the righteous shall live by faith.
