Is the enemy of my enemy my friend? This is an Arabian proverb, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Sometimes we form partnership based upon a common enemy, like abortion or gay marriage. However, is it enough that we have a common enemy and not agree on the essentials of the Gospel? Sometimes I think it is important that we partner with those who have a common enemy but we must be careful that we do not call them friends in other areas as well. Just thinking.
