The two main materials used in the construction of the Tabernacle were wood and gold. The wood was acacia wood. The gold speaks to us of the Deity of Christ while the wood speaks of His humanity. Isaiah wrote that He would grow up as a root out of dry ground. The acacia wood grows in more dry conditions.
